Heidi R. 05/16/2022:  I am writing this for the parents who look into reviews before placing their children in childcare centers . I have a 3 year old son who has been attending this childcare since he was 6 months old. We are recently having to relocate and I have not been able to find a childcare in the area that matches Lil Angels Hayward on Ruus Rd. My son loves his teachers and they have been absolutely amazing from beginning to end.

They are very helpful, caring, and understanding when the drop-offs were hard for both me and my son in the beginning. It took him a while to stop crying at drop-off because he has always been very attached to me. However, their patience and care helped my son become comfortable, gain trust with the staff,  and become used to his new childcare routine. We both love the staff at Lil Angels Hayward and appreciate everyone who has made this a great and safe experience for us because finding a place like this is very hard to find. Besides the amazing care, they have a schedule for the kids   throughout the day in which they have time for play, nap time, reading and additional activities. My son has definitely learned a lot and enjoys the different activities the staff have them do throughout the days.
If you are looking for a childcare for your little one and considering this place I will say DO IT, you will not regret it.

I relocated, and I am currently making the drive to this child care because I refuse to place my child anywhere else. They are not good enough for me, I hope I come across another childcare center that is as great or close to Lil Angels Hayward. The teachers and director are great people.

  • Sirika Pillay Wood  08/2023 :  My son and daughter have been going to Little Angels for some years now. The teachers are very caring and gentle with the children. There is a good amount of time dedicated to playing but the kids also do art activities and learn letters and numbers to the appropriate level for their age. The kids love it here, and I know they are well looked after.

    • Both my sons went here since babies until time for kindergarten. Both were placed into the "advanced" group in Kindergarten due to their teachings from little angels. The kindergarten teacher upon testing my younger son told him he must have gone to a good pre-school because he could count to 100 without making a mistake. Also, he knew his letters, sounds, shapes, and numbers and writing. The price is competitive to other places I've heard of from friends. Their playground is private and is spacious. The kids really like it here and they don't sit in front of a TV Like other daycares I remember touring. Ms. Paloma, Ruthi, and Feven really went above and beyond for my sons. My kids love them. So special thank you to them for all of their attention and kindness towards my sons!

I love this daycare.. love it and I am really stressed that I am going to have to look for something new in the LA area since we are moving. My two kids (both under 2) are at Lil Angels and have been for the past 3 months. So, I hope to make things easy for you parents looking for a daycare - here is a list of what I love about the daycare

    1. all teachers speak to the kids in spanish and english
    2. you SEE how much love your kids get from the teachers - lots of hugs and kisses
    3. it is open 12hrs! 630am - 630pm
    4. NO TV except for a movie on Friday afternoon
    5. I read the other reviews - I have had zero issues with bleach stains or damage to clothes. Though, every afternoon all the rooms are cleaned and set up for the next day
    6. they have the option to register for the "watch me grow"
    7. kids do lots of crafts and get lots of playtime outside especially if it is not raining
    8. the directors take all the technical stuff for the daycare very serious
    9. meals are provided and there is a schedule for each month
    10. the area is gated and all the teachers communicate and know all the kids - regardless of class

My daughter has progressed so much in her vocabulary and I love watching her grow from the social interaction she gets with the teachers and other students. My son taken care of with such love that it makes it easier for me to leave him in the infant room.

So those are my reasons - if those are things you like and want in a daycare. I think you should check it out.

Jameson family:
When I first started at Li’l Angels 5 years ago, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was a new mother, and I was scared to start my baby at daycare. From the first day, the teachers made me feel comfortable about my decision. I never had to worry, because I knew they would call me if something was wrong. There were times, where maybe the staff didn’t tell me what I wanted or needed to hear, and sometimes I had to ask a lot of questions – but the one thing, I NEVER questioned, was how well was my baby being taken care of. It was obvious by how all the kids were laughing, running, making messes, and coming back saying things I had never heard before. When I moved, I was scared to start a new school, because by then I had had another baby. I found out that Li’l Angels had another daycare in my area, and I gave it a shot. Just like the other school, the teachers were always really friendly with my kids and made me happy to know that I was getting the same service as before. The best part, was Ms. Herminia worked at both of them, so when my oldest saw her, he felt way more at ease, and so did i. I could go on about how good you all are, but I just really want to THANK YOU for easing my fears and taking SUCH great care of my kids. They’ve learned more than I could have ever taught them, and Dominic’s Kindergarten teacher was even thinking of skipping him a grade. It’s all because of you guys!–
